First Trip to the Pratice Track

At the time, around May 11th, 2009, Mom said,"The red horse is Irish Eagle, the Grey gelding is Spitfire, the dark grey filly is T.S.Faye. They are all two and we will see how long it takes to get them to the races! I'll train until they have any issues. If they are sound and ready, they can start! Maybe next week we can go to Dons farm, do a gallop and walk through his gates and then the next day maybe go to Calder to do the same thing! We will see!"

Loading for trip down to the practice track at Don Brown's farm.

This was the first real trailer ride for the three babies-after a bit of scrambling, they settled down. Getting used to being hauled and then settling into a new stall is a good practise for their future of racing from the farm.

Irish Eagle unloading at the farm with the practice track.

Spitfire unloading.

Walking around Don's shed row at his farm is a good beginning for future shipping into the track. Having the babies stand in the gates and be relaxed is a good start for the future..
Don was a great help and very patient with the youngsters.

T.S. Faye working at the gate.

Nervous lead in.

Easy does it.

Not so bad in here.

A true loft apartment in the barn.

The help.
